What we believe
Worship should be conducted according to God's commands in Scripture. Therefore, our worship includes elements such as a call to worship, scripture reading, confession of sins, prayer, singing, preaching and sacraments, all of which have a biblical basis.
Specifically, regarding singing we believe songs should glorify God, nurture faith, and offer a theological narrative of creation, fall, redemption and new creation. Songs should be singable, accessible to the entire congregation and avoid lyrics that are overly focused on the self or culture.
